snadals:

Look I finished it before Tuesday. I might reupload it but right now I’m just proud of it. I really liked Wanda’s whole look in America Lost, her costume was great and she actually looked like she was half-Romani, imagine that. She also had brown eyes, but I really dig green-eyed Wanda.

Anonymous asked: Can I just say that as a comic nerd who's also a WOC, this blog and the DC one are my favorite blogs ever!

And, yes DC Women of Color is the best!

blackfemalesuperheroes:

Leiko Wu

As an ally to Shang Chi, Leiko Wu is introduced as an MI-6 agent, femme fatale like those in the Bond films. Her first appearance was in issue #33, in Marvels’, Master of Kung Fu.

Leiko is a beautiful Chinese-British woman who is torn between her history with Clive Reston and her growing attraction to Shang-Chi. Though initially sarcastic and self-possessed to the point of arrogance (Leiko is actually a Japanese name meaning “arrogant”) her relationship with her new lover causes her to become more contemplative.

Alternate Realities

Leiko also exists in the Ultimate universe as a love interest for Shang-Chi, though she’s not a secret agent.

mickimonster asked: so um? why does Harvey draw Jubilee as white?

Harvey Tolibao is really problematic when it comes to drawing Asian Women. Have you seen Psylocke’s mini series? The way Yukio and Psylocke looked in that book is cringeworthy. So brace yourself he will be the artist for the next issue, but in #20 Dexter Soy will join in and he usually does better work
